31st Annual Women’s Retreat

Patricia Ashley

The Women’s Growth Institute of Southside Tabernacle Baptist Church is holding their 31st Annual Women and Teens Retreat March 7-8 at the church located at 3647 18th Ave. S. This year’s theme is “Our Refuge: The God of Hope” (Psalm 46:1).

The Keynote speaker for this event will be Patricia Ashley from Moreno Valley, CA. Ashley has touched thousands of lives through her teaching, writing and anointed ministry of the Word. She has been involved with child evangelism, youth ministry and has taught effective Women’s Bible study. Author of “Marriage Is a Blessing,” she served on the board of Excellence Magazine and was a featured columnist.

She is also a board member for Exceptional Women of God, a ministry that is committed to Haiti. Ashley has travelled nationally and internationally speaking to the body of Christ. A God-given ability to communicate with a rare combination of authority, practicality and humor, her passion is to know Christ, to be known of Him and to make Him known. Ashley’s greatest desire is that God’s people develop a relationship with Him so that they can be filled with the knowledge of His will, with all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

She serves the body of Christ by stimulating people not only to grow in their knowledge of the Word, but also to apply what they’ve learned in their daily lives. Ashley is indeed a woman of God in whom the word of Christ richly dwells.

Married for 43 years, Ashley is the mother of three and is a grandmother as well. She’s traveled throughout the United States and Europe with her husband, Vernon, during his 22 years of service in the United States Air Force.

She currently leads a small discipleship group, teaching how to meditate and keep the commands of Christ. Please make plans to attend the retreat March 7-8 for this special time of growth and fellowship.
