Alabama mom charged with beating daughters, ages 13 and 11, with a baseball bat, starving them


An Alabama mother has been charged with viciously beating her two young daughters and starving them, authorities said Monday.

Belinda Ann McCormick, of Birmingham, was hit with two counts of aggravated child abuse for allegedly beating the girls, ages 13 and 11, with a baseball bat and whipping them with an extension cord.

McCormick, 35, has been jailed since November 2018 after an officer spotted her with her daughters, whose appearances prompted the cop to investigate.
