City offers free afterschool program for grades 6-8

 

St. Petersburg – The City of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation offers free afterschool programs for all middle school students in grades six through eight at 11 locations.  Participants are supervised by well-trained, on-site staff.

City offers aftercare, back to school

Activities include sport leagues, games, special events, daily snack, homework assistance and tutoring. A full day of activities is also available when Pinellas County Schools are not in session. For qualified students, free before school programs are also offered. Transportation to and from select schools is provided.
