Dallas woman arrested for street racing over 120mph with unrestrained baby in the back of her car

A woman has been arrested for allegedly street racing with a 13-month-old child in the car.

Keirra Beatty, 20, was at the wheel in the early hours of Sunday in Linfield, Dallas, when she lost control of the vehicle.

Court documents claim she was travelling at more than 120mph, according to The Drive.

The young child, who was being held by a passenger in the back seat, did not have a seat belt in place.

The car rotated and smashed into a wooden telephone pole, WCNC reports.

Police say she was racing against another vehicle when the collision happened.

Incredibly the baby did not suffer any serious injuries.

Beatty was charged with racing on a highway causing bodily injury and endangering a child/criminal negligence.
