Donald Sterling attends church, dinner with group of mixed-race women Embattled former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling forgot his troubles Sunday night as he laughed over a lobster meal with a trio of young women at a Santa Monica restaurant. Earlier in the the day, the octogenarian who received a lifetime NBA ban after a recording of him making racist remarks was made public, attended a black church service. Sterling attended the Praises of Zion Missionary Baptist Church in south LA, surrounded by bodyguards. After repenting his sins for two hours, the overweight ex-basketball boss was later seen taking an entourage of mixed race female friends to lunch at The Lobster. One of the young women bore a remarkable resemblance to his alleged former lover V. Stiviano, the woman who recorded the slurs that cost Sterling the Clippers, and carried a Chanel purse.
