Postal workers will collect non-perishable food items left in a bag or near mailboxes while they deliver the mail as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive on May 9. Food collected in mid-to-south Pinellas County will be donated to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. The food is then distributed to the community through the Free Clinic’s Food Bank and more than 6 organizations.
