A witness told deputies he saw a struggle between the two men in the parking lot, but authorities are still unsure what led to the stabbing.

‘The struggle was pushed out of the area [and] into the parking lot,’ Orange County Deputy Rose Silva told WFTV. ‘The suspect was able to stab the victim multiple times.’

The stabbing occurred at the store located at 902 Lee Road.

A Walmart spokesperson said the gas station will remain closed today. According to the spokesperson, the actual Walmart is open for business.
