Fashion police! Man on the run after robbing SC bank dressed as a woman

A man who allegedly robbed a South Carolina bank disguised as a woman earlier this week is wanted by local authorities.

The Lexington Police Department are looking for 25-year-old J.Neil Jacoby Jacobs who allegedly robbed a Bank of America on Wednesday morning.

Clad in a long black dress with a multi-colored dotted head wrap and dark shades, the Columbia native presented a note to a bank teller demanding money and threatened violence if she didn’t comply with him, it is claimed.

J.Neil allegedly left the bank with an unspecified amount of money as he fled into the woods near the bank.

The police ask that anyone who witnessed the robbery to call the Lexington Police Department at (803)-359-6260 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME SC.

They can also text or email a tip to Crimestoppers at www.midlandscrimestoppers.com/.

Tips deemed useful to the arrest of the suspect along with the recovery of any stolen goods are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000, paid anonymously.
