LARGO — The worldwide tour presented by hip-hop guru Angie Bee arrived in Largo last month. Hosted by FeaFunk Productions, it was an exciting weekend for both youth and adults.

Angie Bee is a Christian author, producer and promoter.  For several years she’s advocated and arranged a platform for holy hip-hop artists to share their love and commitment to Christ via the expressive art of rap music and the spoken word.

She is also the host of the hottest home hotspot Holy Hip-Hop Radio; airing from 4-8 p.m. EST weekdays on www.MyJBN.com (click the Gospel Vibe link to hear the show).

“The Tour That Angie Bee Presents” was held at The Largo YMCA, 1801 – 119th St. N.  The event also featured informative workshops.  This was the first time that this nationwide tour has stopped in Pinellas County! Angie Bee and local community pillar John Feazell collaborated to bring this fun-filled event to the area.

“I’m just honored to have been connected to Angie Bee through my friend Pastor Wanda (McCree),” said Feazell. “This tour is powerful! It ministers to young people in a way and language they understand.”

There were appearances by world renowned artists such as Fava (Ft. Pierce) and St. Pete’s Slick Ali, featuring Sojourner.  Additionally, the weekend workshops included The Moms N Ministry, Dads on Duty Workshop and The Testimonies of a Rapper.

The weekend of outreach was sponsored in part by the Ridgecrest Boys and Girls Club and North County Ministerial Alliance, Inc.
