JPPNA’s Black History Program coming up

ST. PETERSURG — The Jordan Park Projects Nostalgic Association, Inc. (JPPNA, Inc.) will host its annual Black History Program at the Enoch Davis Center Mon., Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.

For more than 30 years, former residents whose pioneering actions within the Jordan Park community have been honored. They were everyday neighbors showing and giving all of whom they were to provide the best of what was needed.

Most honorees are in their 80s or have passed on, all leaving the lingering effects of their unfettered legacy. Some of this year’s honorees include James Oliver, Sr., Ed Charles, Mr. and Mrs. Bubba Jones and Mr. and Mrs. George Hurst.

The 501(c) (3) charitable, non-profit organization will also be promoting its membership and accepting any and all donations.  The Black History Program is free and open to the public.
