Math Bee at the Johnson Community Library July 15

ST. PETERSBURG – Hey Kids! Brush up on your math facts this summer and have some fun at the library while you do it. Students entering grades K through six are invited to compete for prizes in the 6th Annual Math Bee, to be held Wed., July 15, at 6:15 p.m. at the St. Petersburg James Weldon Johnson Community Library, 1059 18th Ave. S.

The free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Johnson Community Library, with support from the St. Petersburg Masonic Lodge 109. The top three finishers in three grade-level groups are awarded gift cards.

Participants are encouraged to practice their math facts online at www.VMATHLIVE.com. Tutoring is offered Wed., July 8 through the day before the event from 3-4:30 p.m. Registration is held on-site the night of the event. For more information contact the library, (727) 893-7113.
