National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day event

PINELLAS COUNTY — Just as colleges around the nation ready for outstanding student-athletes to commit to their athletic programs, so do technical colleges when preparing for students pursuing a career in technology and skilled trades.

Both campuses of Pinellas Technical College invite you to participate in our third annual National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day from 11-1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20.

For north county students, the event will be held on the Clearwater campus at 6100 154th Ave. N and south county students will attend the St. Petersburg campus at 901 34th St. S.

National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day highlights the college’s commitment to helping students gain the skills necessary to compete for occupations that are in high demand.

Students join their peers to commit to their future technical program pathway by signing a Letter of Commitment to Pinellas Technical College. These students are committing to attend once they have completed their high school careers.

Pinellas Technical College is one of more than 40 colleges around the country hosting signing day ceremonies on Feb. 20.

Each high school senior that attends the National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day will be awarded a $200 tuition scholarship, and students that complete a brief essay when registering will be considered for a $500 tuition scholarship.

Please RSVP and complete the tuition scholarship application at http://bit.ly/PTCSigningDay2020 or by visiting www.myptc.edu.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 11 a.m.!
