The family of deceased truck driver Taemon Blair, who was discovered hanging in his vehicle earlier this month, claims the 21-year-old man was murdered after authorities ruled his death a suicide.
On March 14, Blair, a North Carolina-based truck driver, was discovered dead inside the trailer of his truck in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A subsequent autopsy confirmed that he passed from asphyxia by hanging, which prompted authorities to deem the manner of death as a suicide, according to a report from the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
“As is the case with all death investigation we have a very thorough and comprehensive investigative process,” the Fort Wayne Police Department said in a statement. “I am confident had we have found signs of a suspicious death and the Allen County Coroner corroborated those findings it would ‘not’ have been ruled a suicide. We feel for the family and their loss.”
