An incredibly talented student has been accepted into more than 100 colleges – and offered $4.5 million in scholarships.
Jasmine Harrison, 17, is set to graduate from her high school in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a perfect GPA projected 4.0 grade point average, on May 24.
She has no concerns about her future because she was inundated with offers of admission and merit-based scholarships.
‘When I got the first couple in the mail, I was like, “OK, this is really happening,”‘ Harrison told CBS affiliate WFMY-TV. ‘I didn’t really think I’d be able to do that.’
Harrison was accepted into no fewer than 113 colleges in the flurry of responses.
And the clever student took advantage of local schemes, with advice from her teachers at The Academy at Smith, she managed to avoid application fees, allowing her to apply to more than 100 schools for $135.
