Botched butt injections death ruled homicide – she died on table with bloody gauze on her rear

The death of a woman who had a botched ‘Brazilian butt lift’ has been ruled a homicide, authorities said on Monday.

Wykesha Reid, 34, was found dead on a massage table at the Deep Ellum salon on February 19 this year in Dallas, Texas, after receiving injections from an unlicensed cosmetic surgeon.

Denise Rochelle ‘Wee Wee’ Ross, 43, and Jimmy Joe ‘Alicia’ Clarke, a 31-year-old who lives as a transgender woman, were arrested in March in connection with Ms Reid’s death.

They may now face additional charges, according to Dallas police.

Reid, a mother-of-one, was found with her pants partially pulled down and blood-stained gauze on her rear.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office said a silicone-type substance and fresh injection sites were found on the 34-year-old’s buttocks.

She had a pulmonary embolization of silicone from the botched surgery, Dallas News reported.

The nursing home employee, who ‘always wanted a big booty’ friends said, had butt injections at the salon on three previous occasions and reportedly returned on February 18 for a fourth round.

Police found her body early the next morning after Clarke called 911 and claimed she did not know what happened but admitted that Reid had come to the business ‘saying she was not well and wanted to lay down’.

Clarke claimed to have locked the woman in the business and found her dead the following morning, KHOU.com reported.

The building had been cleaned out, the trash cans emptied and Reid’s purse and cellphone were also missing, detectives discovered.

When police went to inform Ms Reid’s daughter of her death, Keira Reid told police that her mother had booked a session to have ‘butt injections’ and that a woman who goes by the name of ‘WeWe’ and a transgender person were going to carry out the procedure.

Another witness told police that her boyfriend rented the building to Ross and Clarke, and that they performed butt injections.

The death follows a complaint to police by a 27-year-old woman who said that she visited the salon on February 9 and paid $520 to have buttock injections, but ended up screaming in agony when ‘unknown’ substances were used on her.

The holes were then closed with superglue, she said. She later identified Ross and Clarke as the people who carried out the operation. Neither is registered with the Texas Medical Board.

Dallas County court records show Clarke has convictions for prostitution, lewd public conduct and possession of cocaine.

Ross has previous convictions for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, assault, possession of drugs and theft.

The two illegal practitioners were currently out on bail.
