Cold case? Florida murder suspect found hiding inside of a refrigerator

A murder suspect was arrested in Florida this week after officers found him hiding inside a refrigerator while searching a home.

Damien Young, 22, is the fifth suspect that has been charged with the first-degree murder of Rayshaan Berry, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s office.

Berry, 28, was shot and killed during a robbery at a Titusville motel earlier this month, investigators said.

He was allegedly lured to the motel by suspect Lauren Hudgens, 22, with the promise of prostitution, only to be robbed at gunpoint by four men upon his arrival, according to police.

Hudgens, as well as David Richardson, Sir Aljenon Ingram and Kendrick Kitchen have also been charged with murder, WESH reported.

Detectives believe Berry was shot after he fought back.

His body was then dumped on Florida State 50 road, where it was found on June 1 by a passing motorist, according to News 13.

Young was also charged with robbery with a firearm.
