Gaffney was number 10 wide receiver with the Washington RedskinsFormer NFL player Jabar Gaffney is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Jacksonville.

Gaffney, 35, who played for numerous NFL teams, was arrested in Friday on charges of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

He was a former Patriots wide receiver from 2006 to 2008. He also played with the Houston Texans, Patriots, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins.

This isn’t his first run in with the law. In February 2000, while still in college, Gaffney was charged with allegedly stealing $245 and a watch from the locker room during the high school state championships.

For this he was kicked off the Florida Gators.

While he was able to work his way back onto the team, he lost a scholarship. He was also later accused of beating a 15-year-old boy, but prosecutors declined to charge him.

In 2010, he was detained for resisting arrest without violence during a traffic stop, according to NBC Sports.
