Husband finds wife naked in bed with her own father, who stabs son-in-law & flees in his car
A husband who came home to find his wife naked in bed with her own father was then stabbed by him, police said.
The 25-year-old man told police in Oakland County that his father-in-law Henry Allen Michael, 47, attacked him after he came home on Saturday to find him in bed with his own daughter.
He said both Michael and his wife were asleep in bed and completely naked.
The man said after waking his father-in-law up at around 3.30am, they got into a fight that moved outside the house in Pontiac, Michigan.
Michael, of Detroit, who was staying at the couple’s home after his release from prison, is then alleged to have stabbed his son-in-law in the back and fled the scene in the unnamed man’s vehicle.
After the incident, Michael then reportedly got into his son-in-law’s vehicle and fled the house in the 100 block of W. Rundell Avenue.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, but doctors at McLaren hospital discovered the knife had perforated his right lung.
Police interviewed the man and then later spoke to his wife, who told them that she and her father had been out drinking together before they returned home where she passed out.
She added that she had no clue what had happened until her husband had woken her up, police said, but she told officers that she had no reason to believe she had been sexually assaulted.
After an examination by staff at the hospital, she was taken to the Haven START program to another exam before going to a family member’s home.
Police arrested Michael and he is currently at Oakland County Jail with charges pending.
Michael’s criminal history includes a 1992 robbery, for which he received a 20-year jail sentence and was released in 2012, CBSDetroitreported.
But in March this year, he pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon and was placed on probation until January next year.
He also had an outstanding warrant in Taylor for violating his probation at the time of the alleged stabbing, according to police.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
