Isaiah Thomas has never let being the NBA’s smallest player stop him from dreaming big. But while the two-time All-Star would prefer to start wherever he winds up in free agency this summer, he won’t “rule out” re-signing with the Los Angeles Lakers to serve as the team’s scoring sixth man behind Lonzo Ball, according to the Los Angeles Times’ Tania Ganguli.
“I like it here, I like the situation I’m in, the system, coaching staff,” Thomas said. “Organization’s been great to me. If things work out I would love to be here. You just never know. With free agency you’ve got to keep your options open. I have no complaints since I’ve stepped foot and put a Laker uniform on.”
