LAMAR JACKSON, LOUISVILLE
Jackson has been an offensive machine for the Cardinals and could be on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy. He has 1,625 passing yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 688 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground.
PATRICK MAHOMES, TEXAS TECH
Mahomes has the benefit of Texas Tech’s offensive system, but he’s quite the talent in his own right. He leads college football with 2,274 passing yards and has tossed 20 touchdowns. He also has seven rushing touchdowns, and he’s completed an incredible 72.8 percent of his passes.
DAVIS WEBB, CALIFORNIA
No Jared Goff, no problem. Webb has led Cal’s high-powered offense with 2,256 yards and 22 touchdowns in his senior season.
KENNY HILL, TCU
Hill, a former starter at Texas A&M, has proved himself again at TCU. Despite a mediocre 12/8 TD/INT ratio, he’s third in passing yards with 2,142, and also has 206 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground.
