Twelve year old boy on the run, wanted for murder

A 12-year-old boy is on the run after police believe he and two teenagers murdered one man and seriously injured another.

Jarrell Milton of Omaha, Nebraska is wanted for the murder of Jamymell Ray, 31, who was shot dead in a park in broad daylight on June 29.

Jarrell, along with brother Jamar, 17, and Shuntayvious Primes-Willis, 15, is also accused of shooting Charles Fisher, 30, who survived the attack.

The two teenagers are currently in police custody.

According to NBC 6, police believe the boys lured the men to the park claiming they wanted to purchase marijuana and then opened fire.

‘It’s incomprehensible. It’s unbelievable when you think of somebody who’s 12 years old, seventh grade or sixth grade, and being charged with murder for having a gun – approaching somebody and using that firearm with two other people that also had firearms,’ said Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine.

‘All of it’s even impossible to imagine that it’s even a possibility.’

The teenagers, who have been booked and charged with first degree murder, were denied bail at a hearing on Tuesday.

Prosecutors believe the shooting was gang related, and say that despite their ages, they plan to charge all three as adults.

They also said there is a possibility they will file more charges against the boys, in addition to murder and shooting of Fisher.

Fisher meanwhile has been released from the hospital.
