The Suncoast Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. held a private, virtual initiation and installation ceremony on Sunday, May 15, 2021.
Under the guidance of Chapter Vice President, Crystal Pruitt, the Membership committee planned the formal ceremony to welcome the following Mothers to the Chapter: Ariel Calhoun, Denise Delbrune, LaTina Johnson, Ajene Snow and Valerie Stafford-Powell.
The leadership committee is: President Tiffany Williams Gooding, Vice President Crystal Pruitt, Program Director Nikki Barfield, Recording Secretary Dr. Regina Hardin, Corresponding Secretary Dr. Ramona Young, Treasurer Monica Rochelle Williams, Financial Secretary Brooke Taylor and Editor Cheryl Bradbury.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is a premier African American family organization that includes mothers who nurture future leaders by strengthening children through chapter programming, community service, legislative advocacy and philanthropic giving. The mothers believe every child with proper guidance and opportunity can be a leader and change agents.
The Suncoast Chapter of Jack and Jill is celebrating 30 years of service to the local community. The local chapter hosts monthly activities for each age group within its membership and chapter events.
The chapter is now comprised of over 30 families residing in Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota Counties. The children range in age from 2-19 years.
