“In all things give thanks for this is will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (I Thessalonians 5:18).”
Thanksgiving is a choice. In every situation, we have a choice to be thankful or to complain. Complaining only keeps us stuck and going around in circles.
Whereas, thanksgiving breaks the cycle and propels us into the next dimension of our destiny.
God delivered the children of Israel from Egyptian bondage so that they could enter their Promised Land. Between Egypt and the Promised Land was an 11 day journey through the wilderness. What was designed to take days, took 40 years. Why? They were murmuring and complaining.
God has a Promised Land for each of us (health, prosperity, harmony in all Relationships). It is up to us how long we stay in our wilderness experience (sickness, financial challenges, dysfunctional relationships). If we are still complaining, then we are not ready to enter our Promised Land. If we are thanking God for “it all” then we are ready to exit. How long will you wander in your wilderness? It’s completely up to you!
