You are invited to join in celebrating the 23rd Pastoral Anniversary of our pastor, Rev. Louis M. Murphy Sr., during the month of May. Our theme this year is “An Unwavering Heart”, inspired by Psalm 57:7 and how he embodies our core values.
We ask that you join us in acknowledging our pastor by participating in the festivities each Sunday at the 7:45 & 10:00 AM services and on Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30pm. We especially ask that you are present on May 11th when The Rev. Clark Hazley of Mt Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, FL will be our guest preacher. The evening will also include “This is Your Life” tributes to our pastor and ministry presentations.
If you plan to attend, be assured we will observe ALL safety guidelines. This is also a great time to drop off any cards or gifts for Pastor Murphy.
We pray that you will join us in encouraging, lifting, and admonishing our pastor for his outstanding service to the Mt Zion Progressive church over these last twenty-three years. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30pm., for a great time in the Lord.
