St. Petersburg International School is a nonprofit, independent Spanish immersion school that will open for the 2019-2020 school year in grades K-4. The school will gradually expand to serve students from PK – Grade 12. The mission of St. Petersburg International School is to foster bilingualism, embrace diversity, and inspire children to work for a just and sustainable planet through a program rich in the arts. The school will put children on the path to becoming bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English through arts-driven language immersion, demonstrated by decades of research as a highly successful program for students from diverse backgrounds, and a powerful tool to help close the achievement gap. St. Pete International offers tuition on a sliding scale, in which families pay an amount in tuition that is in equitable proportion to its financial resources. This free information session is for parents and caregivers who are looking for an innovative educational option for their children and would like to learn more about the school.
