A Flurry of Sensory-Friendly Holiday Fun at The Florida Aquarium’s Snow Days
Who says Floridians can’t experience the magic of snow? The Florida Aquarium is excited to announce the return of Snow Days, a cherished holiday tradition in Tampa, offering even more icy excitement this year. During the Aquarium’s sensory-friendly event, lights and sounds will be adapted accordingly for individuals with sensory differences.
What: The Florida Aquarium’s 2023 Snow Days Sensory-Friendly Event
When: Thursday, December 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: The Florida Aquarium – 701 Channelside Dr., Tampa, FL 33602
Why: Experience the magic of winter, right here in sunny Tampa and make lasting holiday memories that will warm your heart!
Guests are invited to grab their gloves and immerse themselves in a variety of hands-on winter festivities. The “Snow Fly Zone” will feature a snowball toss and the popular snowball slingshot. The young and young-at-heart will let their creative side shine through with snow painting—where the snow becomes their canvas. There will also be dashing through the ‘snow’ maze and playing snowball cornhole.
