Join us for a special evening with Khalil Gibran Muhammad, widely known as one of the most influential authorities on racial justice in America. Dr. Muhammad is the award-winning author of The Condemnation of Blackness, a “brilliant work that tells us how directly the past has formed us” (The New York Review of Books); his work has been featured in the landmark New York Times “1619 Project” as well as Ava DuVernay’s Oscar-nominated Netflix documentary 13th.
An incredibly dynamic, humorous, and grounding speaker, this Harvard Kennedy School Professor will offer a brief history of the racial economic inequity we see in our country today. He’ll talk about how we got here – and where we go next.
