With many seniors waiting for food in South St. Petersburg, with your help, Neighborly’s Meals on Wheels program will fill more than open meal delivery routes; we’ll fill hungry tummies! You’ll see instant impact from delivering a hot, nutritious meal to homebound seniors and you’ll reduce the isolation so many feel. All it takes is:
– One day a week to volunteer (Monday through Friday)
– Choose from convenient locations in and surrounding South St. Petersburg (18th Avenue S or 54th Avenue South)
– Deliver meals to 5-10 seniors (between 10:30am to 12:30pm)
A one-time orientation is held in Clearwater and then volunteers serve from their chosen location.
Qualifications: Age 18+, Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a reliable, clean vehicle. Must be able to use tablet or smartphone and be a friendly person :). Apply here: https://www.volgistics.com/appform/230724921
