First City Hall on Tour of 2025 to Feature Sunrise St. Pete Initiative
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (March 17, 2025) – St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch is kicking off the 2025 City Hall on Tour series with an engaging, open-house-style community event on Wednesday, March 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Coliseum (535 4th Ave N). This event is family-friendly, free, and open to all residents. Light refreshments will be provided.
Sunrise St. Pete Community Pop Up
This first City Hall on Tour of 2025 will provide residents with an opportunity to engage directly with City leadership and highlight Sunrise St. Pete, the City’s newly launched initiative funded by $160 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from HUD. Residents will have a chance to learn more about this transformative initiative and provide input on how the funds should be used to address housing, infrastructure, and economic recovery needs. City Hall on Tour: Bringing Government to the People
Mayor Welch and members of his leadership team host City Hall on Tour stops in different neighborhoods to engage with residents about their needs, concerns, and ideas. The community is invited to attend, ask questions, and connect directly with City staff, including administrators, law enforcement leaders, and department directors.
