Created for a purpose

“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7

The creation was not an accident. God created everything and everyone for a purpose. God is very intentional about creation and the destiny of each lump of clay. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).”

God does not waste one thought. Each of us began as an idea in the mind of God and God has a purpose for our lives. God has a vision of our destiny. God has a picture of our wholeness and our perfection. “What is man that you are mindful of him or the son of man that you visit him (Psalms 8:4)?”

We are always on God’s Mind. God sees us perfect, whole and complete and that Divine Idea will never leave God’s Mind. God keeps visiting us with opportunities to be whom were originally created to be. God keeps inviting us to be more and live better. God will not leave us alone until that purpose for our lives is fulfilled and we will not transition from this dimension of life into the next dimension of life until God’s purpose is fulfilled (Romans 8:28-34).

Although each of us has a specific purpose, God has a general purpose for all of creation and that is to bring glory to our Creator. Through our uniqueness, we bring God glory indifferent ways. Let us be purposeful with our thoughts and use the energy of our minds wisely. Let us be sure that the things that we are creating with our minds are serving the purpose of our highest good.
