In the spotlight are children available for adoption

One Church One Child of Florida is a faith-based, 501(c)3 organization, operating statewide in partnership with the Department of Children and Families and Local Community Based Lead Agencies and their providers in recruitment of adoptive and foster families and local churches to partner in supporting children in foster care and local families through Church  Watch-Care Ministries.

One Church One Child of Florida acknowledges the children who need a permanent family. The series continues featuring children all over Florida who are waiting in foster care for a forever loving family to call their own.

December’s children are highlighted in this article.  Continue to pray for them, and consider making them a part of your family through adoption or a part of your church through Project Watch-Care, for support and mentoring.

Jeremiah, 11 and Samuel, 14

Jeremiah and Samuel have a strong bond and would like to remain together and maintain contact with their older sister, who is both a great role model and positive influence in their lives. They seek a forever family that has a church connection, enjoys staying active, likes playing and watching sporting events and both have a great sense of humor.

Jeremiah loves video games, listening to music, eating pizza and playing basketball and football. Samuel is reserved at first meeting but once he warms up, he is a fun and lively youth who also enjoys playing football and basketball, loves eating pizza, playing with animals and video games, especially sports games.

One Church One Child of Florida will hold an Education Forum Sat., Jan. 9 from 11-12 p.m. at Annie’s Beauty Supply located at 2104 34th S, St. Petersburg.  Annie Tyrell is the owner of Annie’s Beauty Supply, which is a One Church One, Child of Florida business partner.  There will be refreshments, prize giveaways and information about adopting, fostering and mentoring as well as partnering and volunteering.
