‘Intentional Tension’ exhibit thru Aug. 31 at Tully-Levine Gallery

Through Aug. 31, a collective show featuring seven all-Black contemporary artists entitled “Intentional Tension” at the ArtsXchange Plaza located on the historic Deuces corridor, 515 22nd St. S. The above painting is by Dr. Dallas Jackson entitled ‘Ben and Jemima.’

ST. PETERSBURG — Now through Aug. 31, the Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) is hosting a collective show featuring seven all-Black contemporary artists entitled “Intentional Tension” at the ArtsXchange Plaza located on the historic Deuces corridor, 515 22nd St. S.

Participating artists include:

  • Hillary Van Dyke
  • Dallas Cooper Jackson, Ed.D.

Mark your calendar  

Aug. 11 at 6 p.m.: Artist Talk with Dallas Jackson, for WADA members and volunteers

Aug. 13 from 5-9 p.m.: Opening reception, open to the public

Aug. 28 from 6:30-8 p.m.: Panel discussion with the artists, ticketed event, free for WADA members
