ST. PETERSBURG – Celeste Henry Thomas is a summer 2014 graduate of the doctoral program in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Florida. The title of her dissertation was “Understanding the School Successes and Failures of African American High School Boys.”
Before beginning the doctoral program, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1993, a master’s degree in guidance and counseling education in 2004 from the University of South Florida and an Educational Specialist degree in administration and supervision from National Louis University in 2010. She is currently a program manager for Pinellas County Schools.
