St. Pete’s finest: Tim Jackson

ST. PETERSBURG — It’s official, another Gibbs High School Alum has made it to the big time. Scholar and athlete Tim Jackson has signed with the Houston Texans. Proud parents Al and Cassandra Jackson are pleased that he first received his degree in early December from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in exercise sport science before signing.

Tim attended Gibbs High from 2006-10 and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. As the captain of the football team, he helped lead them to the district championship for the first time in history.

“To God be the glory,” said his mother.
