USF Bulls Dining Across America Returns this Sat. April 25

Bulls Alumni and community members at Bulls Dining Across America 2025 at Pinellas County Urban League

Tampa Bay, FL – Bulls Dining Across America, continuing its annual initiative to support and uplift Black-owned restaurants across the nation through intentional, collective economic impact.

Bulls Dining Across America is a national day of action that encourages USF alumni, students, and community supporters to dine at Black-owned restaurants in their local cities. By concentrating spending on a single day, the initiative aims to generate meaningful economic support while amplifying visibility for Black-owned businesses.

The initiative started in 2024 in Tampa, and has spread across the nation to include Winter Haven, Ft. Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Atlanta, and New York.

The multi-city event will take place at locally celebrated Black-owned restaurants and food establishments. Attendees are invited to enjoy great food, connect with fellow USF Bulls, and participate in a movement that blends alumni engagement with economic empowerment.

“This initiative is about more than dining—it’s about intentionally circulating dollars within our communities and standing in solidarity with Black entrepreneurs,” said Kiva Williams, Event Chair. “Each year, Bulls Dining Across America demonstrates the power of collective action and the lasting impact alumni can make beyond campus.”

Founded by the USF Black Alumni Society, Bulls Dining Across America has grown into a nationwide effort that reflects the organization’s commitment to service, advocacy, and community investment. Events are held in multiple cities across the country, all unified by a shared mission: supporting Black-owned restaurants and fostering sustainable economic growth.

Community members, alumni, students, and supporters are encouraged to attend, dine, and share their experience on social media to further spotlight Black-owned businesses and the impact of this initiative.
