2014 Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Expo

Loving My Hair Natural Hair Studio and the Black Shopping Channel packed the downtown Hilton Sun., March 9 for the Inaugural Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Expo with an extravagant hair and fashion show that showcased more than 30 minority and small businesses.

This packed seven-hour event not only rivaled the national Ebony Fashion Fair shows that used to tour St. Pete, but it also placed an emphasis on local entrepreneurs who would not otherwise have an opportunity to expose their businesses to such a large crowd.

Sankofa Wearable Art, Nu Body Fitness, GL Accessories, Just B Beautiful, Positively Aloe, Mandisa Ngozi, Hair it-iz Salon and Carolyn’s Closet were just a few of the businesses on hand that could help you accent your look, improve your fitness and expand your scent collection.

Local salons and barbers were on hand as well to highlight the beauty of natural hairstyles. The Fly, Fabulous, Fierce Fashion Show ensemble exhibited a colorful variety of the latest and retro apparel wear.
