Join us for our “Live to the Beat” session, inspired by the CDC and Million Hearts “Live to the Beat” Campaign and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion “Move Your Way” Campaign.
This dynamic event is designed to get you moving and kickstart your journey towards a healthier lifestyle in 2025.
Hosted at the Enoch Davis Center, 1111 18th Ave S., this event promises to inspire, energize, and equip you with the tools needed for a year filled with heart health and well-being.
Welcome & Energizer start at @8:30 am. Learn the importance and the benefits of moving your body — your way! Beginning with an 80’s & 90’s music energizer dance session followed by health and wellness techniques that include stretching, fitness, breathing, and relaxation exercises. Health screening, free flu shots and giveaways will be available. Come out and get your wellness on! It’s Your Heart, Your Health, Your Way!
Our “Moving into Wellness” Series starts Jan. 18, 2025, and then every 3rd Saturday of each month until May 17, 2025, at the Enoch Davis Center, 1111 18th Ave S., Rm B, at 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM.
Here is a glimpse of our sessions: Sessions will be interactive, engaging, and educational. We will be bringing in local experts to design exercises, cooking demos, and resources to take your health to the next level.

- Mar 15 – “Healthy has a Language” Integrating healthy language with moving and food
- Apr 19- “Empower & Thrive” A Holistic Approach to Wellness for Black Women Through Healthy Living and Environmental Sustainability
- May 17- It’s a Spa Therapy Day Honoring Women
Tampa Bay’s FFBWW Wellness Ambassadors — Tresalynn Morris, Bola Adeshina, and Sierra Clark — are collaborating to advance the objectives of The Foundation for Black Women Wellness: to energize, mobilize, and support Black women in transforming their health and lives through education, advocacy, support, and powerful partnerships.
As the first FFBWW Wellness Ambassadors in Florida, our mission is to promote health and wellness in our communities, and to advance health equity and community sustainability through programming and cultivating community partnerships.
Supporters to make this event a success include BayCare, ArtFit Pro, Living Well FL, My Better Living LLC, Rise & Thrive Foundation, Museum of Motherhood (MOM), Afroflorida Media Collective, and E. Chambliss Art Gallery & Studios.
