ST. PETERSBURG – Omega Psi Phi Fraternity-Eta Rho Chapter on Saturday, May 16, honored beloved chapter member, Brother Glenn Bailey.

In observance of the many good deeds carried out by this outstanding Omega man for 58 years, the men of Eta Rho serenaded him and his family by singing the fraternity’s most cherished hymn: Omega Dear.

Baily, known to the brotherhood as a quiet force for positive good, has always been a hard-working, dependable, true Omega gentleman. As a life member of the fraternity, Bailey is the go-to brother when a need occurs.

He started his formal training at Stillman College, a private historically black liberal arts college in Tuscaloosa, Ala. It was on that beautiful campus in 1962 where he made a life-changing decision to pledge Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Baily loves nothing more than being on hand to welcome new brothers into the fold of Omega. During this special salute, 25 chapter brothers were present, as well as three honored brothers: Mordecai Walker, Al Thornton and Redwood Braxton. These men and many other chapter brothers make up the solid foundation that is Eta Rho Chapter.
