ST. PETERSBURG — Faith Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Robert A. Vinson, Jr., won’t let COVID-19 and social distancing stop them from hosting their annual vacation bible school.

Instead, the church will use technology to connect with members as well as others in the surrounding community and beyond.  This particular effort is in line with the church’s 2020 theme: “20/20 Vision…FOCUSING on Growing in Discipleship.” Matthew 28:18-20; John 15:4-5.

From June 8-12, Faith will host vacation bible school using the Zoom online platform.  The Christian Education Ministry has been busy making plans for the week’s activities to engage adults, teens, and children.

Participants will be able to interact with each other either through their computer, tablet or phone. The theme for the week is “Super Training University with Jesus,” and the scripture is from Ephesians 6:11: Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

The Zoom web address, call-in phone number, and meeting ID for each of the three groups of students will be posted on the church’s Facebook page @FaithMemorialMBC, Instagram page @faithmemorialmbc and website at FaithMemorialmbc.org starting June 7.

If you have any questions, please call the church at 727-896-0351.
