There’s Always More to Come

BY REV. DORAL PULLEY

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” – John 9:4

Once God spoke the light into existence by saying, “Let there be light,” God separated the light from the darkness. God called the darkness, night, and the light he called day. Later, God separated the light to determine time: days, years and seasons. Then God further separated the lights of the day into two lights: the sun and the moon.

The daytime, the nighttime, the sun, the moon, the stars, days, seasons and years were all created from one thing, light. God pulled out all of these things from the light. Once God separated light into these various dimensions, God gave each aspect of light a name and a specific purpose.

It is important to follow God’s example and realize that the things that we create are pregnant with several other possibilities. There is value in taking the time to examine our creations and see all of the potential within each creation. It is imperative for us to separate each aspect of our creation and give it its own name and purpose.  I learned this with the “It’s Just That Simple Message: Love God, Love Yourself, Love Everyone Else.” It began as just a book. From the book came book clubs, book signings, websites, and various other promotional materials.

All of us are God’s creation. Within each of us are several gifts, talents, skills and abilities. Instead of limiting ourselves, let’s open up our hearts to see the vast potential in ourselves. Instead of putting people into boxes, let us open up our minds to see the endless possibilities in others. God is able to do exceed our expectations and go beyond anything that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
