Breaking the Cycle

Praise the Lord Saints.

I want to invite you out to one of my afternoon services starting Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Coming Soon! True Holiness Christian University offering Bachelor’s, Master’s, and DD’s in Systematic Theology!

It’s a shame I have to say this before getting started but I will, if you don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God and that He is God Himself who manifested Himself in flesh and blood and sacrificed His life for the sins of mankind so that we could have a chance at eternal life then nothing I write in these articles will ever make sense to you and you might as well stop reading now.

However, if you believe Jesus is God Himself and He came and died on Calvary and rose the third day morning defeating death, hell, and the grave and is alive and well just as He was in the beginning, then keep on reading. (Read Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth; John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.; 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 1 John 5: 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.  John 10: 30 I and My Father are one. )

While there is more, if you ain’t believing by now, it would be a waste of time to continue on.

I say all this because there are some so-called Christians that believe they can just play saved and claim they love the Lord but, their lives, their walk, their talk, their dress, their actions say that they ain’t no more studying God than the man on the moon.

Anyone being led by the Spirit of God doesn’t lead folks down a road of deception, falsehoods, is divisive, sows discord among like-minded people and speaks evil of others’ good.

All of these are tools used by the master deceiver himself satan.

Glory and thanks be to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit that leads and guides into all truth.

Those of us that have the “true Holy Spirit” by evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives us utterance, have been given several spiritual gifts that aid us in the spiritual battles we face on a daily basis that are initiated by those that have allowed satan to lead and guide them.  The Holy Spirit acts like a demonic warning signal that preempts the potential damaging attacks satan unleashes upon us and because of that warning, we are able to cut satan off in his tracks making him rethink or alter his plan.

The sad reality of the matter is this, most of satan’s puppets don’t realize they are being used by him.  There is a quick surefire way to tell if you are being used of satan or if in fact you are doing God’s work.  This sounds like a crazy statement because one would ask how can you not tell if something is of God or satan when the two are polar opposites when it comes to their mission.  God’s or Jesus’ mission is to seek and to save the lost; Luke 19: 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.  Matt 18: 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Satan on the other hand has come to deceive the whole world and to bring as many with him to the bottomless pit on the Day of Judgment.  Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  Rev 20: 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,  3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more.

Just because you drop an Amen, a few Jesus’, a hallelujah or thank you Jesus only when folks are around to make sure they hear you does NOT mean you are doing God’s work and that He is in what you do.

I shake my head and pray His wrath is not as severe as what you are doing.  That song verse I’m glad I don’t look like what I’ve been through is so applicable here because if the punishment fit the crime in which satan’s little helper committed, some folks would not be here with us still.  Thank God for being in this dispensation of Grace to which we all, both saint and sinner, can dip into from time to time and thank God for His loving mercy and grace.

We must be mindful of this, or at least those of us that are sincere in our walk with Jesus, Rom 6: 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

We are walking, living, breathing right next to the very wolves in sheep’s clothing that Jesus warned us of and it’s gonna take a spiritually discerned child of God to be able to detect them and ultimately defeat them.

Saints, dear hearts, be careful, watch and pray and always walk circumspectly because they smile in your face and all the time they want to take you place, the backstabbers!

If you ain’t got the Holy Spirit, get it.  We tarry weekly and have prayer for those that desire to receive this free gift of Power from God.

Till next week,

God Bless.
