TALLAHASSEE — KINGversations will be hosted on Florida A&M University (FAMU)’s campus tonight from 6:45p.m. – 8:45 p.m. at the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building Blue Cross Blue Shield Auditorium.
In honor of Black History Month, this historic event will unite several historic figures from the past and present them into the political landscape of 2015. It will include one-on-one conversations and feature the representations of Stokely Carmichael, Malcolm X, WEB DuBois and other significant members of black history.
The event is hosted by Falling Black in Love, LLC; the Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Black to the Bones, LLC and FAMU’s Chapter of Big Brother Little Brother.
Jaliah Gilcrease is excited for the event and is looking forward to the representations of the historical black figures.
“This is a new event for the Black History Month series so it’s exciting! I have enjoyed all of the events hosted by Falling Black in Love, LLC thus far so I know this one will be just as good,” said Gilcrease.
Students can attend the event for free and it is open to the public.
