The St. Petersburg Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Center celebrates unity, understanding, and healing as it holds an inspiring evening of connection, storytelling, and community building during the St. Petersburg National Day of Racial Healing.
The event takes place January 20, 2026 5:30 – 8 pm at Stetson Law Campus, 1401 61st St South, Gulfport.
This year’s theme—Dream. Heal. Rise.—invites attendees to “imagine a more just future, deepen our understanding of one another, and celebrate the rich diversity of our community” through a meal, performance, dialogue, and shared reflection.
The St. Petersburg TRHT is part of a national network of centers across the United States. The National Day of Racial Healing is observed annually on the Tuesday following Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On this day, people across the country gather to engage in practices that foster racial healing and advance a more equitable future for all children.
