ST. PETERSBURG – Native son Dr. Eric Lamar Peterman, 42, went home to be with the Lord May 11, 2018.
Peterman attended Canterbury School of Florida and graduated as valedictorian in 1994. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Academy of Family Physicians, National Physicians Alliance, South Tampa Masonic Lodge and others.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mom, Rosie Peterman-Thompson; a caring sister, Veronica Y. Peterman Jones; aunts Gladys Moorer, Marie Hicks, Ruthie Griggs, Mary Hemphill; uncle James Peterman (Ethel) and a host of cousins and other extended family and friends.
Visitation is this Friday, May 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Zion Hill Mortuary, 1700 49th St. S. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 at Bethel Community Baptist Church, 2901 54th Ave. S, St. Petersburg.
