We apologize for the delayed gratitude. It has taken us a while to send out a thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love we received as we mourned the loss of Rhonda Y. Jackson—an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
It’s been a little over a year and we still don’t want it to be true. However, the reality has set in, and we wanted to formally thank each of you who texted, called, emailed, prayed, posted on our timeline, sent cards and/or flowers, prepared food/beverages, purchased toiletries, cleaned and offered your physical presence during our loss.
All your acts of kindness, none too big or too small, were overwhelming and are greatly appreciated. The loss was indeed devastating to our family. But the consistent and gracious God of our faith dealt out His immeasurable peace to us.
Thank you to our pastor, Rev. Brian K. Brown and the entire St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church family—you all were right there all the way, and we are forever grateful.
Thank you Lawson Funeral Home for absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for better.
Please accept this as our warmest thank you with huge hugs. If we missed or offended anyone with the delay, please charge it to our heads and not our hearts because we truly appreciate everyone who did anything to help ease the pain, and make the homegoing process beautiful.
Please continue to keep us lifted up in prayer. Time hasn’t made the pain easier, but it has definitely made it softer. With your prayers and God’s strength, we know we will continue to live and love harder.
