“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered…” – Psalm 68:1
Our hearts beat naturally without us thinking about it. Hundreds of dead skin cells fall off of our bodies every day without us scheduling it. Our lungs expand and constrict without us doing anything. The process of aging takes place daily without our permission. Blood is flowing through our veins without any effort on our part. All we do each day is “let” these physical activities flow.
Nevertheless, we are both spiritual and physical. We are both human and divine. We are both natural and supernatural. There is a spiritual part of us and it can flow just as effortlessly as the natural part of us. All we have to do is “let” the Spirit flow in our lives. Affirm: “I AM living with the ease and breeze of Spirit.”
God rises in us each day by speaking to our hearts. God also utilizes people and media resources to get the message of love to us. “People shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).” All we have to do is “let” God work in us by listening to the still, small voice (I Kings 19:12).
God rises in us each day by giving us feelings and impressions of when things are right and when things are wrong. All we have to do is “let” by following the Spirit’s guidance (John 16:13). God rises in us each day and we are loaded with benefits and given new mercies (Psalms 68:19; Lamentations 3:23). All we have to do is not sabotage the blessings with thoughts of guilt, shame and unworthiness. Every day the sun rises and the sun sets. Daily old relationships end and new relationships are formed. Just let. Each day doors close and new ones open (Revelation 3:8). Just let go and let God.
Affirm aloud these words every day this week: “I AM letting the God in me arise in every aspect of my life.”
