Growing up on the south side of St. Petersburg, Jeremy Lomack recognizes that the inspirations spawned from his city may not be what you’d expect. The Royal Theatre, the Manhattan Casino and the Palladium allow him to walk in the footsteps of some of the greats such James Brown, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong.
Also, the influence of his church is deep rooted in him and gives him the drive to not only make great music, but to touch souls while doing so.

“Music is what I do,” said Lomack. “God has given me creativity and an ear to hear good sound. I love all types of music because it speaks to the place of people. Music is not just one thing or one type of sound: it’s jazz, gospel, classical, hip hop, rap, R & B (rhythm and blues) and much more.”
Lomack primarily sings R&B and gospel. He is an avid writer and an innovative artist that redefines dance, pop and rap music. His beat production skills make him a cut above the competition and his lyrical content will have you wondering what subject matter he will attack next.
“I speak to the heart of people,” said Lomack. “When I’m singing, I feel the words because I feel the people. My songs are about life from the perspective of growing up in St. Pete but knowing that there’s a whole world that many haven’t seen.”
Lomack performed at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. He is currently working on a solo album, which is to debut later this year. Connect with Jeremy Lomack on Facebook, email him at booklomack@gmail.com or hear his music on soundcloud.
