School closed Tuesday and Wednesday

Pinellas County Emergency Management has activated shelters in preparation for Tropical Storm/Hurricane Idalia. Therefore, all Pinellas County Schools and offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, Aug. 29, through Wednesday, Aug. 30.

All sports and school activities scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 29 and Wednesday, Aug. 30 are canceled.

We will continue to monitor the storm and any impact it has on Pinellas County. All updates will be posted on the district’s weather page www.pcsb.org/weather  and on social media, including FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

St. Petersburg College Closures

All SPC campuses will be closed, and classes canceled, Tuesday-Wednesday, Aug. 29-30

DUE TO POTENTIAL IMPACTS FROM TROPICAL STORM IDALIA, all SPC campuses will be closed and classes canceled, Tuesday-Wednesday, Aug. 29-30. The storm is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico today and is forecast to become a hurricane.

 The college, working with Pinellas County Emergency Management officials, continues to monitor the storm closely. Updates regarding Thursday and Friday will depend on any impacts to our region and will be made in the coming days. Updates will be emailed and posted on the college’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, the college website, and our college Emergency Preparedness site.
