The Bible made this one as plain as the nose on your face, but…

Praise the Lord.

I pray your encounter with Hurricane Ian was minimal and that you are back to some level or normalcy in Jesus’ name.

This subject matter is another one that is clearly defined by scripture, yet, most still believe the traditional or cultural way will suffice.

Take a look,

Eph 4:4 There is one body [of believers] and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when called [to salvation]— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One Lord, one doctrine, and one baptism. Simple basic to the point, without ambiguity. The common denominator is ONE!

So, when it comes to foundational doctrine when discussing being saved and what is required according to this scripture, there should be concrete evidence across the board supporting it.

So, what you are about to read is scriptures that should be in unison and synergistic in nature.

Luke 24: 45 Then He opened their minds to [help them] understand the Scriptures, 46 and said, “And so it is written, that the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and that repentance [necessary] for forgiveness of sins would be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Here we see that Jesus had to open up the understanding of the disciples so that they could better understand scriptures. This was the first time they had encountered Him after He rose and they still were in disbelief that someone could raise themselves from the dead. The previous scriptures starting around v.33 helps to give the story leading up to this point.

Notice what Jesus is declaring and commanding because its significant, He declared that repentance is necessary for your sins to be removed and that, catch this, its to be preached in HIS NAME!  If its not, your sins remain, why? Because it wasn’t in HIS NAME. The name of Jesus to the key focal point in all of this.

Mark 16:16 He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned.

This is where the comedy comes in. Many say that this scripture that is clearly apart of the canon, made the final cut and is in every version printed, should not be in the bible. Man made this comment regarding God’s spoken word. Hilarious right? What, why you say, that they are saying this? Because look at what is being declared again by Jesus.  Not only do you have to believe but you MUST BE baptized or you will be condemned. Then to attempt to pollute things they say look at the latter it only says that if you don’t believe you will be condemned not if you are not baptized.  Ok, I’ll play boo boo the fool, if I believe but not baptized then what happens to me, purgatory, heaven jail? Jesus said that you have to believe and be baptized in order for salvation and escape His wrath and judgment. Stop it.

Check this one out.

John 3: 3 Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.”

5 Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh [the physical is merely physical], and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

So, you have to be born again. How does one become spiritually reborn?  In order to be reborn a death must occur. Water baptism is to be performed by being totally submerged in water creating a water spiritual death, a dying out of your old self and remember Luke 24, the remission and washing away or removal of all your previous sins.  Don’t believe the lie that all your future sins are washed away as well, really.  Every religious bone in your body tells you that can’t be right and in this case you would be right. *NUGGET* And NO, a saint ain’t a sinner who fell down and got up. A saint that commits a sin is a backslider but a saint nevertheless and just needs to repent, then all is forgiven. Stop singing garbage just because it sounds good to the ear, it must be sound doctrine.

See without being reborn again, nothing spiritual will ever make sense to you. This is why those hardheaded family and friends will never listen, they can’t understand what you are saying, it doesn’t make sense to them because they don’t have a spiritual perspective because they haven’t been reborn. They are still carnal minded.

Verse 5 says you have to be born of the water through water baptism and born of the Spirit, filled with the precious gift of the Holy Spirit or what, you CANNOT EVER ENTER!

Who said those words, JESUS DID!
