“The Holy Spirit will bring all things to your remembrance whatever I have said unto you.” – John 14:26
Denial – Learning the Bible does not intimidate me. I do not feel insecure about my knowledge of scripture.
Affirmation – I know all the scripture that I need to know to overcome any issue in my life.
You have your own personal truth. It is truth with a lower case “t”. Your truth is what works for you. You developed your truth through your various life experiences. Your truth is individualized to fit your personality. Your truth does not work for others and their truth does not work for you. In addition to your truth, there is Truth with a capital “T”. This Truth is called Universal Truth because its principles can apply to anyone and its practices can be used in any situation. Universal Truth is timeless. It endures forever and transcends generations.
Jesus as Wayshower successfully navigated through his wilderness experience because he knew the Truth of the scriptures. He was a Student of Truth; therefore, he was able to quote the Truth to himself and apply it to the various challenges that he faced while in the wilderness. The common phrase that he said in the face of every temptation was, “It is written.” He used the Truth to triumph over his temptations.
As a Wayshower, you are presented with various obstacles to overcome, hurdles to jump over and mountains to move. You grow in Christ consciousness by increasing your reading, studying, and researching the scriptures that are filled with Universal Truths. The degree of success that you experience in life’s challenges is based on your knowledge and use of the Truth.
Reflection Question – What is your favorite verse of scripture? What makes it your favorite? What does it mean to you and how does it serve as your Truth?
Meditation Activity – Spend at least 30 minutes in meditation based on your favorite verse of scripture. The 30 minutes can be done in one setting or broken up throughout the day.
